Passe partout: harmony and aesthetics |
| A Passe partout (or “framing matboard”) is a 1.5mm Cardboard sheet with a cut-out that is placed over the picture (whatever it is a photograph, a Canvas, a pastel, a watercolour, a print or a drawing). Passe partouts are available in a wide variety of:

sizes (17 oval or rectangular formats)
formats (single, double, triple opening) |
They are made of Wood pulp.
The passe partout enhances the visual appeal of the picture and creates a harmonious transition between the frame and the picture.
