Wallpaper, stationery and maps make great mats to surround your subject. Or paint or paste shapes onto a colored mat for a personalized look.

Collage frames:

Collage frames are photo frames that can hold more than one photo. These frames allow you to create your own collage of photos on a same theme, thanks to its multiple-opening mat. Large mats provide space to sign one's names and add sentimental statements.
